On the internet, there are lots of information for teenagers that promotes suicide or running away from home. Ministry of Gender Equality said they have confirmed total 262 cases of harmful information for last July. They checked blogs, clubs, boards and replies of 5 popular websites that frequently visited by teenagers. About suicide, 86 cases were about how to kill oneself, 45 cases were supports for committing suicide and 17 teenagers were looking for company to die together. Moreover, 28 inquiries for purchasing potassium cyanide were detected. Ministry of Gender Equality asked for deletion and blocking of certain information to the websites. Harmful information on online like these could have a bad influence upon teenagers that they could actually put their idea into practice. Authority is going to run the internet monitoring center to keep watching information for minors until this year.
